Girls' flag football state champions
This is the record of girls' high school flag football state finals, state by state, taken from each association's own record book, results page or release: 81 finals in 10 states, from Florida's first championship in 2003 to this fall. Where the association does not give a runner-up, score or venue, we leave it blank rather than fill it from news reports. States that have crowned champions we cannot yet confirm from the association are listed at the end.
Who won the first girls' flag football state championship?
Fort Lauderdale High School won Florida's first FHSAA championship in 2003, beating Lake Worth 14-7 at Clearwater High School. Florida was the only state to crown a girls' flag football champion until Georgia's first in 2020 — see the sanctioning timeline.
