Girls flag football is not among the UHSAA's sanctioned activities. The only flag football in UHSAA documents is Unified Sports: the 5 May 2026 Board minutes note that a flag football pilot for Unified is underway and will be reviewed after completion. That is a separate, Special Olympics-partnered programme, not girls' flag football. Reporting describes a girls' league run by a nonprofit, the Utah High School Girls Football Association, with support from the Las Vegas Raiders, pushing for sanctioning.
