Checked on 2026-11-01 against DIAA's association website (championship sports).
Girls flag football is not among the DIAA's championship sports. The DIAA does sanction Unified Flag Football, a separate programme for students with and without intellectual disabilities; it is not girls' flag football. An NFHS release republished in February 2026 listed Delaware among states with independent or pilot programmes, and reporting describes school teams supported by the Philadelphia Eagles; we have found no DIAA document recognising girls' play.
