Checked on 2026-11-01 against VPA's association website (athletic guides by sport).
Girls flag football is not among the sports for which the VPA publishes athletic guides and rules; the list includes football, field hockey, ultimate and unified sports, among others. We found no VPA document on girls flag football. Reporting in 2026 says the VPA asked schools to start the sport as a club in 2026-27 with the aim of sanctioning it later, with support from the New England Patriots; we have not seen that in VPA materials.
