Girls flag football is not among the NDHSAA's girls' sports. An NFHS release republished in February 2026 listed North Dakota among states with independent or pilot programmes; reporting describes a Minnesota Vikings-backed pilot run by the Fargo Park District, outside the schools' association. We found no NDHSAA document that mentions it.
